Aeronautics Club Project Airplane Greg Henson (7111 Westover, Houston TX 77087; E-mail: hensongb@yahoo.com) sent in this photo of the Sig Kadet that was built by the student members of the Hartman Aeronautics Club of Hartman Middle School. The labor was divided according to the specific talents of each individual student. Greg commented, “Some students enjoyed sanding while others preferred covering.” Greg is immediately behind the airplane in the photo and is the teacher and sponsor of the aeronautics club. Kneeling to the right of the airplane is Jesus Suarez, aka master engineer. Jesus showed above-average ability to interpret plans and solve building problems. The Kadet in controlled using a Futaba radio and is powered by a Thunder Tiger .46 engine. |
