Stable U-Nik Johnny Gonzalez (2200 W. Jackson Ave., McAllen TX 78501) sent this shot of his original design RC sport model, the U-Nik. No plans were drawn to build from, and construction is of poplar and birch plywood throughout. The model’s wingspan is 86 inches, the weight is 10 pounds, and a SuperTigre G-61 engine powers the model. U-Nik is covered with MonoKote and has rudder, elevator, and throttle control, provided via a Futaba radio. Johnny wrote, “Flight throughout the speed envelope is slow and stable.” |
