| Neat P-51D George W. Smith (1011 SE 17th Ave., Cape Coral FL 33990; E-mail: liberty892@aol.com) took 18 months to build this Giant Scale Top Flite P-51D. He powers the model with a 41 cc US engine and uses Futaba radio gear for guidance. The model weighs 25 pounds. George is pictured with his two grandchildren, Jeremy and Zachary Smith. George admitted, “I must say that building this model has been beyond my capabilities.” George, that looks like a fine job! |
