| Stable P-51 Robert Coats (9720 Cypress Farm Dr., Zebulon NC 27597; E-mail: Coatsgr@aol.com) built this gorgeous P-51 Giant Scale Mustang from a Top Flite kit. A Zenoah G-62 engine fitted with a Mejzlik 22 x 12 propeller powers the aircraft. The model weighs 25 pounds and features Robart retracts and a Futaba 8-channel PCM w/9303 radio. Robert covered the aircraft with fiberglass cloth and finished with DuPont automotive paint. He wrote, “In flight, it is as stable as a trainer.” |
