Happy New
Year! In a few days, the Executive Council
will be meeting during the AMA Expo in
Ontario, California. If you plan to attend
the show January 9-11, the council meeting
will be held Sunday morning and is open to
all AMA members.
The council has informally discussed holding some of
its quarterly meetings around the country to
allow more members an opportunity to meet
the Academy's governing body.
As the winter winds blow across the
National Flying Site here in Muncie,
Indiana, we at AMA Headquarters are looking
toward the new year and the many flying
events planned across the nation.
As you mark your new 2009 calendar, use the following
information to plan your aviation year.
Plan to take in as many aviation events as you can.
There are thousands across the nation for
your enjoyment.
